Marvin Morrison, of Middle River, MN, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 2, 2026 at his home, surrounded by his loving family.

Marvin Warren Morrison was born on March 8, 1953 on Scotia, CA, the son of Glenn Lee Morrison and Eleanor Ruth (Kanen) Morrison. He graduated from the Portland Adventist Academy in Portland, OR.

In 1971 Marvin was married to Clydean Alberta Hettrick. Three children were born to this union – Mark Warren, Jerry Lee, and Kelly Michele.

In 1990 he was married to Rebecca Sue Brown. A great addition to the Morrison family were Rebecca’s children, Debbie and Henry Rudolph.

In 2003 Marvin and Shanda (Juhl) Kraulik were united in marriage in Karlstad, MN. Another great addition to the Morrison family included Shanda’s children, Sarah and Nathan Kraulik.

Marvin’s career encompassed numerous roles including a journeyman roofer, fire extinguisher service man, and nursing home maintenance supervisor.

Marvin’s hobbies included fly fishing, bird watching, practicing a healthy lifestyle, and being outdoors enjoying nature.

Marvin is survived by his wife, Shanda; children, Mark Morrison, Jerry Morrison, and Kelly (James) Rogers; step-children, Debbie Rudolph and Henry (Jennifer) Rudolph, Sarah (Kevin) Collins, and Nathan Kraulik; grandchildren, Dustin Morrison, Tristan Morrison, Jack Rogers, Travis Rogers, and Wyatt Rogers; step-grandchildren, Kemani Collins, Sydney Collins, Noah Kraulik, Corban Kraulik, Nora Kraulik, Aiden Kraulik, and Abigail Schultz; sister, Shirley Blaine; and many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Glenn Morrison and Eleanor (Kanen) Morrison Wing; and sister, Catherine Louise Morrison.
