Mary Goulet, 75 of Thief River Falls, MN passed away unexpectedly on Monday, July 11, 2022 at Sanford Medical Center in Thief River Falls with her loving family by her side.

The gathering time for family and friends to celebrate Mary's life will be from Noon until 2:00 PM on Friday, July 15, 2022 at Johnson Funeral Service in Thief River Falls, MN. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery near St. Hilaire, MN.

Mary Rose Blilie was born September 19, 1946 in Grand Forks, ND the second of four children born to Menford and Emma (Henry) Blilie. Mary was raised in Grygla, MN and attended school in Goodridge, MN graduating with the class of 1965.

In May of 1967, Mary met her future husband, Eugene Goulet at A & L Potato Company in Grand Forks. Eugene took her shoe and threw it in the back seat and told her to get it. On November 4, 1967, Mary was united in marriage to Eugene at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in East Grand Forks, MN. Within the next five years, five wonderful children were born to this union: Kenneth, Barbara, Jodi, LuAnn and Larry.

Mary worked various jobs throughout her life and after her kids all left the nest, she and Eugene went trucking and their travels took them through 46 of the United States.

Mary enjoyed playing games on the computer and playing at the casino. Mary would help anyone in need and she especially loved spending time with her family.

Survivors include children, Kenny Goulet of Embarrass, MN, his children, Jasmin (her children, DeWayne & King), Kansas and Dillon; Barb Goulet of Thief River Falls, MN, her children, Joey (Christina) – (children, Noah, Addison, Riley, Cole, Eleanor, Everleigh, Easton, Carter, Teagan) Corie, Taylor (Katie) (children, Oliver), Jessie (Kyle) (children, Ember, Greyson, Riley); Jodi (Greg) of Park River, ND (children – Timmy (Ashley) - their son Maddex), Gene, Sammi, Ariana; LuAnn (Roger) of Thief River Falls, MN (children – Ridge (Courtny) – (their children, Skylar, Elsa, Addilynn, Jaxson), TJ (Karleigh) (their daughter, Zoey); Larry (Debbie) Goulet of Thief River Falls, MN; special nephew, Gary (Holly) Blilie and their son, Oscar of Grand Forks, ND; sister-in-law, Brenda (Jim) Goulet Parrott of Princeton, IL; and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Gene on May 28, 2022; parents; siblings, Menford Blilie Jr., Eddie Blilie and Ida Blilie; and nephew, Craig Blilie; sisters-in-law, Norma Murphy and Deloris Jenkins.
