Matthew John Mutnansky, 15, died Saturday, November 2, 2002 as a result of a 4-wheeler accident near Goodridge, MN.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 2:00 PM, Thursday, November 7, 2002 at the Goodridge School, Goodridge, MN, with Father John Kleinwachter officiating. Burial will be at Poplar Grove Cemetery, Espelie Township, Marshall County, MN.

Visitation will be 5 " 8 PM, Wednesday, November 6, 2002 at St. Anns Catholic Church, Goodridge, MN, with a 7 PM prayer service and for one hour prior to services at the school on Thursday, November 7.

Matthew Matt Mutnansky was born December 19, 1986 in Thief River Falls, MN, the son of Jim and Arletta (Merck) Mutnansky. He was baptized at St. Anns Catholic Church in Goodridge. He grew up and attended school in Goodridge where he was currently a sophomore.

Matt was a member of St. Anns Catholic Church, Goodridge, MN. He was involved in football where he was positioned at center and tackle. He was also involved in basketball where he held the position of forward. Matthews favorite pastime was hunting, especially deer, ducks and geese.

Matt was known for his keen sense of humor and was an excellent storyteller. He enjoyed the company of his 5 sisters. He loved working on his Dads farm, helping with all the mechanical needs that go along with farm work. He also took on the responsibility of helping with repairs around his mothers house. He was very mechanically inclined, fixing on his sisters cars.

Survivors include parents, Arletta (special friend, Doug Brandt) Mutnansky, Goodridge, MN; father, Jim Mutnansky, Goodridge, MN; sisters, Jennifer, Amanda, Melanie, Jessica and Kristen, all Goodridge, MN; grandparents, Bev and Joe Merck, Bagley, MN and Theresa Mutnansky, Goodridge, MN; several aunts, uncles, relatives and friends.

Matt was preceded in death by his grandpa, Paul Papa Mutnansky and great uncle, Jerome Mutnansky.
