Melody Marie Pollard, 42, of Oklee, MN, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, July 12, 2022, at her residence.

Memorial service will be 2 PM Monday, July 18, 2022, at Johnson Funeral Service Chapel, Red Lake Falls, MN.

Visitation will be one hour before the service at Johnson Funeral Service Chapel, Red Lake Falls, MN.

Burial will be at a later date.

On October 31, 1979, Melody was born to Chip and Janet (Fisher) Pollard at McMinnville, OR. She was the second of four children: Matthew, Melody, Esther, and Deborah. Several years later, the family moved to Central Florida, where she graduated from Frostproof High School in 1998. She continued her education in cosmetology in Florida.

In 2017, Melody moved to Ray, North Dakota, where she met Lucas LaCoursiere. For the next few years, they traveled with Luke's job. In November 2019, they welcomed their son, Liam. In 2020, they moved to Oklee, MN, and bought a home. They welcomed their daughter, Harmony, into their family in May 2021.

Melody enjoyed cooking, 4-wheeling, reading books, and spending time with family and friends. She was a creative, kind, loving daughter, mother, and friend. We will miss her very much.

Melody is survived by her children, Cynthia Negron, Braedon and Fallon Clark, Liam and Harmony LaCoursiere, parents, Chip and Janet Pollard, siblings, Matt (Amy) Pollard, Esther (James) Melvin, and Deborah (Eric Mcelroy) Stone, significant other, Lucas LaCoursiere and his parents, Gary and Sue LaCoursiere, sister-in-law, Lori (Mike Livingood) Payne, and grandfather, Luke Pollard, many aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews, and nieces.

She is preceded in death by grandparents Laverne and Lois Fisher and Jodi Pollard.
