Mercedes Rowley, 23, passed away Saturday, May 17, 2014 as a result of an automobile accident. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, May 26, 2014 at 10:30 AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Red Lake Falls, MN with Father Adam Hamness officiating. Burial will be held in St. Dorothy Catholic Cemetery at Dorothy, MN. Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 25, 2014 from 5 - 8 pm with a 7:00 PM prayer service at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Red Lake Falls and also one hour prior to services at the church on Monday. Mercedes Dawn Rowley was born October 8, 1990 at Thief River Falls, MN the daughter of Dawn Fougner and Troy Barge. Dawn was united in marriage to Robin Beyer of Red Lake Falls, MN. Mercedes was raised in Red Lake Falls, MN. She later moved to Aneta with her mother and finished her education in Finley, ND. She worked for the Polk County Eagles Wing in Crookston and was currently employed at the Villa St. Vincent Nursing home in Crookston. She enjoyed basketball, volleyball, hunting, riding horse, spending time outdoors, most of all she loved the time spent with her kids and family. Mercedes is survived by her children Eli Alexander Porraz and Annalise Michelle Porraz of Crookston, MN; father of her children Marco Porraz of Crookston, MN; mother Dawn (Darren) Fougner of Aneta, ND; brothers Damian, Dalton, and Dawson and one sister Devyn; nephew Huntley Nicholas Kelley of Grand Forks, ND; father Troy (Marlaya) Barge of Vidor, TX;; half-brother and sisters Mya, Annabella, Lucas and Alexis. Grandparents Sharon Rowley of Sharon, ND, Diane Vanderweg of Warroad, MN and Donald Buley of Roseau, MN along with many aunts, uncles and cousins. She is preceded in death by her grandfather Gene Barge, along with her sister Teja Beyer.
