Michael Binion, 62, died Wednesday, September 30, 2009 at his residence in Thief River Falls, MN.

A private family service was held.

Michael Lynn Binion was born December 27, 1946 at Lake Charles, LA, the son of Randolph Franklin and Margaret (Wing) Binion. He attended elementary school in Lake Charles and graduated from La Grange High School in Lake Charles, LA in 1965. He served his country in the United States Air Force.

He owned Roto Rooter A-1 Sanitation in Louisiana. In the late 1990s he moved to Thief River Falls where he worked at Kum-N-Go.

Michael was interested in working on cars and motorcycles. He enjoyed listening to music and enjoyed wood-working and repairing his house.

He is survived by finace, Brenda Olson, Thief River Falls, MN, and Brendas children: Jared Carver, Jessica (Rob) Mahto, Jennifer Carver, Eugene Trahan Jr., 3 grandchildren: Braiden Carver, Ellie and Addie Mahto; and Michaels daughter, Stephanie Dawn Binion Knauf, LA; a sister, Margaret Ann Tyson, Pitkin, LA; 2 nieces: Melissa Tyson Rushing and family, and Becky (Dave) Tyson Carroll and family.

Michael was preceded in death by his parents.
