Mike Mohr, 66 of Red Lake Falls, MN passed away Wednesday, December 2, 2015 at his rural Red Lake Falls Home.

Funeral service will be held on Monday, December 7, 2015 at 10:30 AM at Bethany Lutheran Church in Red Lake Falls, MN with Reverend Gary Graff Officiating. Burial will be held at the Oak Grove Cemetery near Red Lake Falls.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 6, 2015 from 5 – 8 PM with a 7:00 prayer service at Bethany Lutheran Church in Red Lake Falls and also one hour prior to the service on Monday.

Michael James Mohr was born June 16, 1949 at Perham, MN son of the late James and Luella (Sazama) Mohr. He was baptized at St. Henry's Catholic Church in Perham and Confirmed at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Red Lake Falls, MN. He attended grade school in Osakis, and Montevideo and graduated from Lafayette High School in Red Lake Falls, in 1967. On September 10, 1977 he was united in marriage to Marjorie Sorteberg at Rose Lutheran Church in Roseau, MN. The couple made their home near Red Lake Falls where Mike was employed at Red Lake County Coop for the past 40 years.

Mike enjoyed hatching and raising show chickens, woodworking, hunting, fishing, reloading ammo, trap shooting and reading westerns. He was a member of Bethany Lutheran Church where he served on the church council and was also a member of the Red Lake Falls Sportsman's Club.

Mike is survived by his wife Margie of Red Lake Falls, MN; son Jonathan (Pamela) Mohr of Crookston, MN; one grandchild Alana to be born April 2016; sisters Kathy Duffy of Crookston, MN and Debbie Kieckbusch of Grand Forks, ND; along with several nieces and nephews and brothers and sisters-in-law.

He is preceded in death by his parents James and Luella and his grandparents Matt and Lenore Sazama and Henry and Regina Mohr.
