Mitchell Mitch Hinden, 47, died Wednesday, October 4, 2007 at Altru Hospital in Grand Forks, ND.

Services will be held at 3:00 PM Saturday, October 13, 2007 at Johnson Funeral Service in Thief River Falls, MN. Visitation will be held Saturday from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM at the funeral home.

Mitchell Delewoyn Hinden was born October 31, 1959 in Thief River Falls, MN the son of Delewoyn and Delvina (Wangen) Hinden. He was baptized into the Lutheran faith at Trinity Lutheran Church in Thief River Falls, MN. He attended Washington Elementary and Franklin Middle School in Thief River Falls and Maple Lawn Elementary School in Ferdonia, WI.

Mitch worked at Arctic Enterprises in Thief River Falls; he farmed for Bill Ness and also worked for the Sanitation Department in Thief River Falls.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, animals, golfing, playing pool, camping, spending time outdoors and visiting with family and friends.

Survivors include daughter, Jessica Hinden; son, Joshua (fianc, Tiffany Rose) Hinden; grandson, Nathan James Hinden; father, Delewoyn Hinden; brother, Wayne Hippy Hinden; sister, Rhonda (Barry) Martinsen; niece, Kelly Stenvik and her 3 children, Cassidy, Zackary and Avery; nephew, Shawn (Nickie) Martinsen and their 3 children, Jaden, Jarek, and Josephine all of Thief River Falls, MN; and many other relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Delvina; daughter, Amber Dawn; brother, Robert (Roy); grandparents, Albert and Agnes Hinden and Kenneth and Alvina Bronson; and various aunts, uncles and cousins.
