Mona Larsen, 80, died on Monday, July 16, 2007 at Hillcrest Nursing Home in Red Lake Falls, MN.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 AM, Thursday, July 19, 2007 at the Riverside Cemetery in Moorhead, MN.

Mona Jean Larsen was born on May 14, 1927 to Haaken and Myrtle (Campbell) Larsen in Moorhead, MN. She grew up and attended school in Moorhead. In 1972, she moved to Thief River Falls, MN. She lived several years at Johnsons Riverside Boarding Home in Thief River Falls, MN. In 2000, she moved to the Hillcrest Nursing Home in Red Lake Falls, MN.

Mona enjoyed being with family and friends. In her early years she enjoyed the First Congregational Church in Moorhead. She enjoyed her church at the Evangelical Free Church in Thief River Falls, MN.

She is survived by a sister in law Bonnie Larsen of Fargo, ND; and 10 nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Haakon in 1981 and Myrtle in 1976, 2 brothers Jack Larsen and James Larsen.
