Morris Duane Swenson was born December 1, 1934 at Argyle, MN the son of Carl M. and Olga (Skadsem) Swenson. He was baptized at the Alma Church. He grew up and attended country school in Marshall County and finished school in Thief River Falls, MN. He worked on farms in North Dakota. Morris served during the Korean War. He moved to California, where he worked as a machinist.

He was once married to Kathryn Thomas on August 10, 1959. He moved to Reno, NV in 1994 where he lived until 1998, when he returned to Newfolden, MN and has lived since. He enjoyed cars, car races, car shows, travel and visiting.

Survived by son, Marvin, Rosamond, CA; grandchildren, Michael and Angelica Swenson; brothers, Harvey, Viking, MN and Clyde, Newfolden, MN.

Preceded in death by daughter, Sharie Swenson in 1977; parents; grandparents; sister, Sybil Peterson and brother, Roy.

Morris Swenson died on Tuesday, July 29, 2003 at his home in Newfolden at the age of 68 years, 7 months and 29 days. May his memory be blessed.
