Myron Sunram, 40, of Thief River Falls, MN died suddenly on Wednesday, July 5, 2017 at Sanford Medical Center in Thief River Falls, MN surrounded by family and friends.
A gathering time for family and friends will be held from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM on Tuesday, July 11, 2017 at Johnson Funeral Service in Thief River Falls, MN.
Myron Dean Sunram was born on April 29, 1977 in Warren, MN the son of Lester and Darlene (Buus) Sunram. He was baptized into the Christian faith and attended school in Thief River Falls. He worked various jobs including fork lift operator at Pelican Rapids and honey bees with Robson's.
Myron was a very big hearted man who lived life to the fullest. He was a loyal friend to those he met and a good father to his son. He was very likable and always willing to help people who needed it. He was a kid at heart.
He enjoyed walking and training Louie the pit bull and had large dogs all of his life; playing games with the kids, spending time with his family and friends, being in the outdoors with his children, kayaking, riding 4-wheeler, listening to music, fishing, rollerblading, bicycling, and long walks with his family and friends.
In March of 2016, Myron was engaged to his best friend, Amy Langseth. They were to be wed in August of this year. He was great at doing things around the house, wanted to make sure things were done before Amy got home from work and would even help Amy at her work. He was a very active dad to Ashton, Arianna & Katie.
Even with his disability, Myron overcame it very well; he didn't let his disability limit his accomplishments or lifestyle. At a young age, he was able to show everyone how tough he was. No matter what anyone has said, Myron made positive impacts for many people's lives.
Survivors include his son, Ashton; fiancé, Amy Langseth and her daughters, Arianna & Katie; parents, Lester Sunram and Darlene (Jack) Abrahamson; sister, Lavon (Matt) Carpenter and their children, Gwen Stengrim & Axel Carpenter; favorite niece, Brittney Stengrim; step-brother, Jeremy Abrahamson; and many other relatives and friends.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents.
