Myrtle Jeanette Rude was born November 23, 1919, at Granite Falls, MN, the daughter of Roy J. and Mabel (Olson) Rude. She was baptized into the Christian Faith at Granite Falls. At the age of 8, Myrtle and her family moved to North Township, MN. She grew up and attended Northrup, County Line and Northstar Schools. Myrtle was confirmed at Trinity Lutheran Church.

On October 11, 1938, Myrtle was united in marriage to Wilbert Willie Jablinske at Trinity Lutheran Church, Thief River Falls, MN. She was employed for several years at the Sioux Caf, Ingas Caf and NuWay Caf in Thief River Falls. She enjoyed being a homemaker and enjoyed activities with her children, grandchildren and their friends.

Myrtle was an active member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Thief River Falls, where she taught Sunday School, was Circle Chairman and served on the church council.

Survived by children Marlene Nessen, Thief River Falls, MN, Beverly Jablinske, Thief River Falls, MN, Katherine Kathy (Tom) Opdahl, Minneapolis, MN and Roger (Deb), Thief River Falls, MN; 14 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; brother, Rudolph (Helen) Rude, Thief River Falls, MN; sisters in law, Linda Olson, Thief River Falls, MN, Marie Peterson, East Grand Forks, MN and Lydia (Howard) Spaars, Burlington, WA; brother in law, Maynard (Alvina), Lynwood, WA.

Preceded in death by husband, Willie; infant son and daughter; parents, sister, Margaret Kelleher, brothers, James, Ernest and Jerold Rude, and a son in law Chet Nessen.
