OBITUARY FOR MYRTLE C. SAMMUT
ERSKINE, MN

Myrtle C. Sammut, 84, died on Friday, October 18, 2002 at Pioneer Memorial Care Center in Erskine, MN.

Services will be held Tuesday, October 22, 2002 at Pioneer Memorial Care Center in Erskine, MN.

Myrtle C. Benson was born on February 20, 1918 in Steele, North Dakota. Halvor and Elizabeth (Savage) Ryan raised her. Myrtle was married to Richard Miller who preceded her in death in 1951, and later married to Charles Sammut. She lived in Pontiac, MI and later moved to Royal Oak, MI where she worked at DeVlieg Machine Company in Royal Oak, MI and retired in 1984 after 33 years of service.

Myrtle enjoyed traveling, bowling, playing Yatzhee, playing cards and spending time with her family and friends.

Survivors include sons, Jack (Georgia) Miller of Waterford, MI, Roger (Vicki) Miller of Oxford, MI, and daughter, Cheryl Sammut of West Bloomfield, MI; 6 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; brother, Richard (Lillian) Ryen of Seattle, WA; sisters, Lillian Langie of Red Lake Falls, MN and Mary Newberg of Minneapolis, MN; and many nieces and nephews.
