Nathan Lerol, of Thief River Falls, MN, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 3, 2022 at the age of 35.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, January 8, 2022 at the Evangelical Free Church in Thief River Falls, MN, with Rev. Sheila Michaels officiating.  Burial will follow at Silverton Lutheran Church Cemetery, rural Thief River Falls, MN.

Visitation will take place from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM, with a 7:00 PM Prayer Service on Friday, January 7, 2022 at the Evangelical Free Church.  Visitation will also take place one hour prior to the funeral service on Saturday at the church.

Nathan Daniel Lerol was born on April 12, 1986 in Thief River Falls, MN, the son of Daniel and Debra (Erickson) Lerol.  He was baptized at Calvary Lutheran Church in St. Hilaire, MN, and confirmed at Silverton Lutheran Church.  Nathan graduated from high school in 2005.

Throughout his life Nathan worked different trades, most recently for UPS, Scoular, and CHS.

Nathan enjoyed bowling, hunting, learning new things, football, the Minnesota Vikings, making other people smile, camping, the outdoors, but most of all spending time with his children.

Nathan lit up every room with his infectious smile and loving personality.

Nathan is survived by his children, Landen, Riley, and Owen Lerol and their mother, Toni Lerol; parents, Daniel (Susie) Lerol and Debra Fields; siblings, Christopher (Sabrina) Rux, Blaire (Lynsey) Rux, Kevin Lerol, Shawn (Kyri) Lerol, Shyanne Lerol, Britney Nelson, Jake Weber, and Josh Weber; grandparents, Orlin (Yvonne) Lerol and Shirley Erickson; his partner, Carmen Bauer; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Durwood Erickson; grandparents and great-grandparents; and uncle, Bruce Lerol.
