Nathan NateDawg John Joshua Moran was born on November 30, 1984 to Gary Paul and Josine Ellen (Myhre) Moran in Grand Forks, ND. He was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith. He grew up in Mentor, MN and attended school in Mentor and graduated from Win-E-Mac in 2004. He attended Northland Community and Technical College in East Grand Forks, MN where he graduated from the welding program in 2005.

Nathan worked at Lakeview Restaurant in rural Mentor while in high school. While in college he worked at the Emerald Grill and Eagles Crest Restaurant. He lived with his sister in Crookston for about a year and worked at Dahlgren Seed Company. He moved to Thief River Falls in 2005. NateDawg began working at Arctic Cat as a welder in Thief River Falls, MN. His commitment to his job showed through by receiving perfect attendance awards. Nathan made many friends along his journey of life ~ young and old.

NateDawg enjoyed all types of hunting. He also spent a lot of time cruising around in his car and listening to his window vibrating music. He played in a dart league in Thief River Falls. He enjoyed playing with his nieces, nephews, cousins, and his little buddy Steven. He worked hard helping his dad with yardwork and projects around the house as well as cutting wood.

Nathan is survived by his parents, Gary and Josine, Mentor, MN; 3 sisters Jolene Moran, Mentor, MN; Amanda (Brad) Johnson, Oslo, MN, Kari (Danny) Mello, Crookston, MN, 1 brother Erling Moran, Mentor, MN; nieces and nephews: Jadine Moran-Mello, Damian Moran-Mello, Sophia Moran-Mello, Karson Johnson, Aunts and uncles: Bonnie (Kelly) Wasberg, Marshall, MN, Keith Bruce (Cindy) Myhre, Devils Lake, ND, Donna (Erwin) Sauve, Burnsville, MN, Marion Beauchene, Fargo, ND, Mae Sunsdahl, Crookston, MN; girlfriend, Brittany Hanson, who is expecting Nates baby, Thief River Falls, MN; several cousins, and many friends.

Nathan was preceded in death by his grandparents: Martin and Alice Myhre, Raymond and Goldie Moran, 2 uncles Francis Beauchene, Dale Moran, 2 cousins Kevin Beauchene and Steve Sauve.

Nathan Moran died on Sunday, December 30, 2007 in an automobile accident near Plummer, MN at the age of 23 years and 30 days. May his memory be blessed.
