Nicholas Burns was born October 27, 1988 in Thief River Falls, the son of Rodney and Diane (Sletten) Burns. He was baptized at Ebenezer Lutheran Church and attended school in Thief River Falls.
Nicholas enjoyed milking cows for Bruce, hauling grain, plowing, cultivating, combining, being a carpenter with Tony, 4 wheeling, anything outdoors, going to Winger to purchase cattle, but most of all he loved to fish and hunt with his brothers and uncles, spending time with family and taking care of his animals. He was always willing to help the neighbors or anyone at a drop of a hat.
Nicholas was a member of FFA and was his dads shadow.
