Noel Pearson, 88, of Red Lake Falls, MN, died on September 22, 2008 at Hillcrest Nursing Home in Red Lake Falls.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12 PM on Friday, September 26, 2008 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Red Lake Falls, MN with Father Chuck Huck presiding. Visitation will be held one half hour prior to the service. Burial will be at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Red Lake Falls.

Noel Joseph Pearson was born on December 19, 1919 in Bovey, MN to Archie and Celina (Beachamp) Pearson. Moved to North Dakota at age five and attended school in Pembina. On September 24, 1951 he was united in marriage to Frances Schmidt at St. Josephs Catholic Church in Red Lake Falls. Later he worked for a farmer at Oakwood. He then moved to Red Lake Falls. He worked as a mechanic for several years at OK equipment in Crookston, MN. He also mowed roads for Red Lake County and was a member of the Park Board there as well. Noel retired in 1987.

Noel is survived by 1 daughter, Bonnie Jo (Daniel) Veselka of Angus, MN, 1 son Gary E. (Cyntheia) Pearson of Warroad, MN; daughter-in-law, Cheryl Pearson of Red Lake Falls, MN; 8 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; 1 sister, Geniveve (John) Krabbenhoft of Milwaukee, WI; and son-in-law George Burthwick of Oklee, MN.

He is preceded in death by wife, Frances; daughter, Rita Burthwick; parents; brothers, Arthur and Wilford; sisters Blanch Schires, Diana Cyr, Lillian Kliniske, Anna Salzman; and 3 infant sisters.
