Norella Dolly Donarski, 76, died on Sunday, January 29, 2006 at Midway Care Center in Fosston, MN.

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 1:30 P.M. on Thursday, February 2, 2006 at St. Bernards Catholic Church in Thief River Falls, MN with Father Tim McGee presiding. Burial will be in St. Bernards Catholic Cemetery in Thief River Falls.

Visitation will be one hour prior to services on Thursday.

Norella Evelyn Dolly Dahl was born on January 9, 1930 on the family farm in West Valley Township, Marshall County, MN, the daughter of Sam A. and Clara (Holmstrom) Dahl. She was baptized in West Valley Congregation on June 22, 1930 and confirmed at Bethesda Lutheran Church on June 25, 1944. Dolly attended Woodland Country School and Newfolden High School. Following High School she attended Beauty School in Fargo, ND for one year.

Dolly was united in marriage on September 18, 1950 to Harry Donarski at St. Bernards Catholic Church in Thief River Falls. The couple lived in Thief River Falls and Dolly worked as a Beautician for 50 years, owning Dollys Beauty Shop in Thief River Falls.

Dolly loved to play Bingo, needle point, crochet, puzzles, curling and bowling.

She was a member of American Legion Auxiliary, and past president of the Womens Bowling Association in Thief River Falls.

Dolly is survived by two sons: Jerome (Colleen) Donarski of Prior Lake, MN and Dwight (Janelle) Donarski of Warroad, MN; one daughter, Lynette (Stanley) Lane of Thief River Falls, MN; special brother in law Jim Donarski, Thief River Falls, MN; nine grandchildren: Sam (Jenni) Lane, Chris (Melissa) Lane, Rick (Theresa) Donarski, Amy (John Davidson) Donarski, Liza (Dylan) Whitmire, Kayla Donarski, Joe (Ashley Harbott) Donarski, Tom Donarski, and Kristina Donarski; step grandchildren: Darnell Shaugabay, Desire Shaugabay and Dane Shaugabay; great grandchildren: Alexis Lane and Ethan Lane; one brother, Clifford (Adeline) Dahl of St. Paul, MN; one sister, Adeline Stennes of Thief River Falls, MN; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry on July 13, 1992; son, Gregory; an infant daughter, granddaughter, Jackie Donarski; grandson, Robert Donarski; her parents; one brother, Kenneth Dahl and one sister, Bernice Westman.
