Norma Wold of Goodridge, MN, passed away Tuesday, January 23, 2018 at the Life Care Roseau Manor in Roseau, MN.

Funeral service will be held 3:00 PM Sunday, January 28, 2018 at Ekelund Lutheran Church rural Goodridge, MN with Reverend Kristin Ostercamp Officiating. Burial will be held at Reiner Cemetery near Goodridge, MN.

Visitation will be held Saturday, January 27,2018 at Johnson Funeral Service in Thief River Falls, MN 5 – 8 PM with a 7:00 Prayer service and also one hour prior to the service.

Norma Violet Reel was born April 22, 1932 at Caledonia, ND daughter of Daniel and Nora (Dvergsten) Reel. She was raised and attended school at Caledonia. She worked as a nanny for area families. She moved into Fargo and helped out her brothers with their family.

Norma was united in marriage to Selmer Trontvedt in Fargo, ND, to this union 3 children were born Larry, Sherry and Carol. The couple made their home in Grygla in 1948.

Norma was married to Gordon Wold at Sisseton SD, to this union 5 children were born Bobby, Rodney, Roger, Connie and Lori. They moved to the family farm near Goodridge where they farmed and milked cows. Norma always had a big garden, she enjoyed canning and baking bread. She enjoyed visiting with the neighbors. Most of all she loved the time spent with the grandchildren. She had her favorite shows on TV and liked to talk on the phone. Abbie her 4 legged friend was very special to her.

She is survived by her children Sherry Woods of Grygla, MN, Carol (Jason) Gust of Strathcona, MN, Bobby Wold of Goodridge, MN, Rodney (Faye) Wold of Goodridge, MN, Connie (John) Stinar of Goodridge, MN, and Lori (Pat Kruchowski) Wold of Brooks, MN; grandchildren Gene (Darby) Trontvedt, Michelle (Craig) Magnell, Kristy Carlson, Kathy Koetter, Lynn Woods, Jason (special friend Jenny) Woods, Beth (Tony) Brandon, Travis (special friend Tonya) Walseth, Chantel (Tyler) Johnsrud, Chancey (special friend Macayla) Gust, Alicia (Dan) Pearson, Daniel Wold, Chelsi (Kaleb) Fisher, Courtney (Logan) Carter, Dylan Wold, Michaela Stinar, Tyler Stinar, Kyle (special friend Miranda)  Gust , Savanna Nelson, Shandi Nelson, Kinsley Kruchowski, Matthew Kruchowski: great-grandchildren Cody, Kaytlin, Tanner, Ian, Brock, Carter, Zach, Tyler, Eric, RaeAnn, Gavin, Madalin, Grace, Cody, Bella, Lola, Huck, Nash, Destiny, Dustin, Adelynne, Carson, Caden, and Maci. Godchild Mike Rehm, brother-in-law Vernon Tronnes of Nielsville, MN along with several nieces and nephews. Special friend Donna Rehm.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband's, sons Larry and Roger, great-granddaughter Megan, daughter-in-law Mona, siblings Marvin, Bernard, Kenny, Irene Tronnes, Darlene Sumptner and Beulah Sheridan, 2infant brothers and 2 infant sisters, along with nieces and nephews.
