Norman Armand Boucher was born July 4, 1920 in Lambert Township, MN, the son of Armidas and Emma (Cote) Boucher. He attended school at Bucktown Country School, about one mile from home.

Norman was united in marriage to Rose Robidoux on August 5, 1941 in Brooks, MN at St. Josephs Catholic Church by Father Proulx. Following their marriage they lived on the family farm near Oklee, farming and raising their family until 1974, when their son, Kenneth purchased the farm and continued the heritage. During this time Norman was an active member of the Lambert Township Board, Midland Board and Farmers Union Co-op Board.

Upon selling the farm in 1974 Norman and Rose moved into town and he worked at American Crystal Sugar in Crookston, MN for several years. His real passion has always been in farming, as he lived on the family farm for 54 years. When an Agriculture Inspection employment position was offered he accepted and served in that position for Red Lake and Pennington Counties for 18 years.

Norman and Rose loved to travel, so after retiring they visited Washington State and Washington, DC, Florida, Branson, MO, Colorado, Arizona, St. Anne DeBopray in Canada, plus many other sites and cities in Canada, Nashville, TN, Grand Old Opera North Dakota, South Dakota and Wisconsin. He had a love for people and enjoyed old time music, playing cards and drinking coffee. He loved his life, his wife, Rose, his family, friends and country. Normans hobbies included gardening, reading, visiting, walking and helping around the house. He was a resident of McIntosh Nursing Home since 2003.

Norman is survived by his wife, Rose of McIntosh, MN; one son, Kenneth (Shirley) Boucher of Brooks, MN; two daughters: Barbara (William) Walker of Littleton, CO and Jackie (Neil) Carriere of Buffalo, MN; nine grandchildren:; seven great grandchildren; one sister, Mae Griffey of Milwaukee, WI; seven sisters-in-law; one brother-in-law; and many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by one daughter, Marcella Marcy Radniecki; his parents; three brothers; one sister; and five brothers-in-law.
