Nova Elaine DeFrang, infant daughter of Nicholas and Kelsy DeFrang, was born on October 12, 2017 and passed away on Friday, October 13, 2017 at Sanford Health in Fargo, ND surrounded by her loving family.

Services will be held at 5:30 PM on Wednesday, October 18, 2017 at Johnson Funeral Service, Thief River Falls, MN with Rev. John Golv officiating. Interment will be held at Babyland in Greenwood Cemetery, Thief River Falls, MN.

Nova is survived by her loving parents, Nick and Kelsy (Rude) DeFrang of Thief River Falls, MN; sisters, Kylee and Koral DeFrang; grandparents, Sandee Rude of Thief River Falls, MN, Jim and Candy Rude of Thief River Falls, MN; great-grandmothers, Carole DeFrang of MN and AZ, Arlene Eggers of McIntosh, MN, Helen Rude of Thief River Falls, MN, and Ardie Foster of Thief River Falls, MN; many aunts, uncles, cousins, and relatives.

Nova is preceded in death by her grandfather, David DeFrang; and great-grandfathers, Douglas DeFrang, Curt Eggers, Rudolph Rude, and Ralph Foster.
