Nu Zhu, 67, died on Monday, September 20, 2010 at Sanford Medical Center in Fargo, ND.

Services will be held on Friday, September 24, 2010 at 5:00 PM at Johnson Funeral Service in Thief River Falls with Pastor Jeff Gustafson officiating. Nus ashes will be buried in her homeland of China.

Visitation will be for one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Nu Zhu was born on September 29, 1942 to Tong Zhu and Qiu Huang Kuang in Foshan, Guangdong, China. She grew up in China and attended school. She was married to Hai Sheng Li and they had three children. Nu worked as a secretary in China. In 1992, they moved to America. Nu has lived in Thief River Falls and helped her children out at the China King Restaurant.

She is survived by her husband Hai Sheng Li, Thief River Falls, MN, 3 children: Shirley (Bert) Szeto, Thief River Falls, MN, Wai Wendy Li Wip) Lam, Thief River Falls, MN, Jian Ben Li (Ying Yun) Thief River Falls, MN, 5 grandchildren: Leeann Szeto, David Szeto, Michael Lam, Yong Li, and Angela Li, and 2 brothers living in China.

Nu was preceded in death by her parents.
