A family visit time is 1 PM - 2 PM before the funeral at the funeral home Thursday. Olga Olivia (Swanson) Hanson was born July 29, 1918 at Hilmar, CA, the daughter of Nels and Emma (Erlandson) Swanson. She was baptized on March 2, 1919 and confirmed on May 22, 1932. In 1936 Olga graduated from Hilmar High School, Hilmar, CA. From 1936 until her marriage, Olga was a hairdresser in Oakland, CA. On April 4, 1940, Olga was united in marriage to Harold Hanson in Yuma, AZ. They returned to their farm in rural Newfolden where she resided until her death. Olga's priorities were her grandchildren and her hobbies included knitting, crocheting and traveling. Survivors include 2 sons: Dennis E. (Garnette) Hanson, Newfolden, MN and Wesley H. (Jeanette) Hanson, Oklahoma City, OK; 8 grandchildren: Randy (Michelle) Hanson, Alan (Michelle) Hanson, Ryan (Holly) Stephenson, Chris (Andrea) Stephenson, Andriana Hanson, Britta Hanson, Krista (Phil) Singleton and Alicia (Tre) Clark; 10 Great-grandchildren: Ashley Hanson, Karlee Hanson, Elynn Hanson, Keaton Stephenson, Blaine Stephenson, Haley Stephenson, Mia Narvaiz, Keiley Casterlin, Elias Clark and Silas Clark; 1 Great-great grandchild: Macie Young; 2 sisters: Marg Pearson, Hilmar, CA and Vi (Ken) Nelson, Turlock, CA; a sister-in-law: Beverly Swanson, Vancouver, WA; along with several nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by husband, Harold in 1974; parents; a sister: Ag Cedarleaf; brother: Erland Swanson and brother-in-laws: Len Cedarleaf and Carl Pearson.
