Oline Mathson, 98, of Oklee, MN died on Wednesday, March 29, 2000 at Fair Meadow Nursing Home in Fertile, MN. Arrangements with the Petterson Funeral home in Oklee, MN.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, April 2, 2000 at 2:00 PM in Salem Lutheran Church near Oklee with Reverend Robert Paulson Officiating. Burial will be held in the church Cemetery.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, from 5 " 8 PM with a 7:00 prayer service at the Petterson Funeral Home in Oklee and also one hour prior to services at the church on Sunday.

Oline Langie was born December 4, 1901 at Wanke, MN daughter of the late Tarjie and Bergit (Hegland) Langie. She attended a country school near Oklee, MN. Oline worked for various farmers in the Fisher, MN area. She also did some assistant nursing at Gilletts Children Hospital in St. Paul, MN.
Oline married Louis Mathson on November 25, 1934 at Oklee, MN. Louis and Oline celebrated 50 years of marriage in 1984. Louis died March 14, 1986. Oline was a farm wife who worked hard all her life and dearly loved her family. She was an active member of the Salem Lutheran Church for many years. Oline has resided at the Fair Meadow Nursing home in Fertile since March 16, 1994.
Oline is survived by three children: Patricia (Walter) Lindberg of Alexandria, MN; Loren (Elaine) Mathson of South Heart, ND and Richard (Karen) Mathson of Panama City Beach, FL. One brother Thelmer (Jo) Langie of Petaluma, CA and eleven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Louis, three brothers and five sisters.
