Olive Pederson, 90, died Thursday, April 28, 2005 at her home in Thief River Falls, MN
Olive M. Haugen was born January 31, 1915, at Devils Lake, ND, the daughter of Mathias and Tilda (Timboe) Haugen. She was baptized and confirmed into the Lutheran Faith. She grew up and attended Hettinger, ND, High School in 1933.
In November, 1936, Olive was united in marriage to Sydney Bonaime. Sydney died in March of 1941. September 1, 1956, Olive married Robert Pederson in Roseau, MN. Robert died May of 1977.
Olive was employed at the ACS and FHA offices in Roseau from 1941-1956 and then with the FHA office in Pennington County. She also was a homemaker.
She liked to play cards on Thursday afternoons at the Heritage Center, but loved spending time with her family and grandchildren. She loved to go the cabin at Long Point on Lake of the Woods. She spent many hours in the flower garden and salsa garden.
Survived by son, Sydney (Sharon) Bonaime, Thief River Falls, MN; daughter, Susan (Todd) Ortloff, Thief River Falls, MN and step-daughter, Roberta (Marland) Kloety, Thief River Falls, MN; grandchildren, Elliot McMahon, Matt Ortloff, Wyatt Ortloff, Mona Pederson, Mike Kloety, David Kloety, Steve Kloety, Mary Dahl and Karen OHearn; 11 great grandchildren; sister, Deloris Borg, Chandler, AZ; brother, Don (Martha) Haugen, Lake Havasu City, AZ and daughter in law Yvonne Pederson, Thief River Falls, MN.
Preceded in death by husbands, Sydney and Robert, parents, sister, Vi Johnson and stepson, Roy Pederson
