Olivia Schoon, 97, died Monday, October 18, 2004 at Pioneer Memorial Care Center, Erskine, MN.

She was born in Porter MN, June 12, 1907. She grew up on a farm near Twin Valley. Olivia married Harry Largis, December 31, 1928. The couple moved to Erskine in 1945 where they resided until retiring in 1963 and moved to Bemidji, MN where Harry passed away April 22, 1979. She married Ernest Schoon, August 10, 1988 and resided in Fergus Falls, MN until his death September 2, 1994.

She was an excellent seamstress and knitter who used that talent to donate clothing, mittens, hats and scarves to the worlds needy and provided care and comfort to many Senior Citizens over the years.

Preceded in death by two husbands, Harry Largis and Ernest Schoon. Her son, Dallas Largis, Red Lake Falls, MN, also precedes her in death, as well as 3 brothers and 1 sister.

Survivors include her daughter, Darlene Hall, Cocoa, FL, her son Elwood and wife Jean Largis, Nanuet, NY, daughter-in-law Eileen Largis, Red Lake Falls, MN, sisters Ruby Oftedahl, Fertile, MN; and Delphine (Hubert) Zak, Owatonna, MN and a brother Arvid (Ethel) Peterson, Dilworth, MN. 3 grandchildren Cindy (David) Garven, Oviedo, FL, Kevin (Jane) Largis, Columbus, NE and Wesley (Sherry) Largis, Red Lake Falls, MN, 7 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
