Oscar Clarence Olson was born on August 8, 1914 in Deer Park Township, Pennington County, Minnesota, the son of Knute and Anna (Nesland) Olson. He was baptized and confirmed at Ebenezer Lutheran Church and attended Country Schools in Deer Park Township and Mayfield Township.
Oscar lived and farmed the Family Farm his entire life.
Oscar loved farming, especially his Livestock. He also enjoyed gardening, tending to his trees, and was an avid reader, especially the Bible. He enjoyed Religious Programs and had a tremendous memory, remembering historical events and birthdays. He enjoyed his last visit to the farm, Monday, September 22, 2003 to see his apple trees. He has spent his last few years at Valley Home in Thief River Falls. Oscar truly lived his life as an Old Style Gentleman.
He was a member of Ebenezer Lutheran Church.
Oscar is survived by many relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; five sisters: Tillie Dahl, Anna Olson, Annie Olson, Bertha Olson and Olga Olson; and five brothers: Ole, Alvin, Oscar, Eddie and Arthur.
