Pamela Schantzen, 62 died peacefully at her home in Spearfish, SD on Saturday, May 12, 2018.

A Gathering time for family and friends will be at 5:00 PM on Friday, May 18, 2018 at Johnson Funeral Service in Thief River Falls, MN.

Pam was born on August 15, 1955 to Si and Donna (Pederson) Schantzen in Thief River Falls, MN. She attended Lincoln High School and Trinity Lutheran Church. She married Dan Olson in 1972 and to this union one daughter, Jessica was born.

Pam enjoyed traveling all over the country and lived in many places. The last five years have been spent with her daughter and grandchildren who knew her as GG. She cherished these years and held them in her heart.

Survivors include her daughter, Jessica and beloved son-in-law, Jon Wagner of Sturgis, SD; siblings, Wayne (Kathy) Schantzen of Thief River Falls, Deb Dahlen of Thief River Falls, Dale (Betty) Schantzen of New Town, ND, Nancy (Mitch) Anderson of Thief River Falls and David (Teresa) Schantzen of East Grand Forks; grandchildren, Erin Housey of Fargo, ND, Brandon (Britteny) Housey of Sturgis, SD; great-grandchildren, Amelia, Emma, Khloe, Maesyn and Emery Rae; and many nieces, nephews and one aunt, Diane Pederson.

She was preceded in death by her father, mother and one sister, Gwen Pilgrim.
