Patricia Reid, 71, died on Friday, July 30, 2010 at Sanford Northwest Campus in Thief River Falls, MN.

Memorial services will be held at 1:00 PM Wednesday, August 4, 2010 at Johnson Funeral Service in Thief River Falls, MN with Father John Kleinwachter presiding. Burial will follow at St. Clements Cemetery in Grygla, MN.

Beloved wife, mother, sister, and friend.

Patricia Ann Sear was born January 27, 1939 in St. Paul, MN the daughter of Steve and Margaret (Becker) Sear. She was baptized and confirmed into the Catholic faith in St. Paul, MN and attended St. Marys Catholic School in St. Paul and graduated from high school in California.

She was united in marriage to John Reid, Jr. in Las Vegas, NV on September 28, 1962 and they made their home in Santa Anna, CA. In May of 1965 they moved to Grygla, MN and started farming. To this union three children were born: John III, Marie and David.

Patricia loved all of Gods creatures, flowers, books, news, politics, crosswords and laughing. She loved to help people and believed in making the world a better place.

Survivors include her husband, John; 3 children, John III, Marie (Josh Karlstad) Reid and David Reid; granddaughter, Annamarie Reid all of Grygla, MN; brothers, Paul & Mike Sear; and several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Steve & Brucie; and her beloved grandmother, Susan Becker.
