Patsy A. Anderson, 72, of Trail, MN, a former Rockford, IL, resident, passed away on Wednesday, March 23, 2016.

Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, March 29, 2016 at Sand Valley Lutheran Church in Trail, MN, with Dawn Hanson, LLM, officiating. Interment will follow at Sand Valley Cemetery, Trail, MN.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM with a 7:00 PM Prayer Service on Monday, March 28, 2016, at Johnson Funeral Service, Oklee, MN. Visitation will also take place one hour prior to the funeral service on Monday at the church.

Patsy (Woods) Anderson was born on October 26, 1943 in Austin, TX, the daughter of Walter H. and Bertha A. (Isaac) Woods.

Patsy was married to Stanford G. Anderson in Trail, MN. The couple moved to Rockford, IL, where they made their home and raised their family for 30 years. In November of 1997 they moved to Trail, MN. Stanford passed away in 1998. Patsy continued to make her home in Trail where she was active in the Sand Valley Ladies Aid and church as well as the Trail City Council.

Her favorite pastimes included knitting and crocheting. She made baby blankets and afghans for everyone that was special in her heart.

Survivors include children, David (Robin) Anderson of Rockford, IL, Kimberly (John) Honzel of Machesney Park, IL, and Keith Anderson of Trail, MN; grandchildren, Cody Walters, Carissa Miller, Zane Honzel, and Miranda Honzel; great-grandson, Tyler Anderson; sisters, Barbara Peterson of Henning, MN, and Karen (Bob) Thoennes of Brandon, MN; brother-in-law, Gary (Arlean) Anderson of Plummer, MN; sister-in-law, Gloria (Lavern) Mathson of Wisconsin; several nieces and nephews.

She is predeceased by her husband, Stanford; her parents; daughter-in-law, Trenna Anderson; nephew, Mark Anderson; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Oscar and Gertrude Anderson.
