Patty Wasley, 58 of Thief River Falls, MN, passed away on Wednesday, April 29, 2020 at Altru Hospital, Grand Forks, ND with her loving family at her side.

A gathering for family and friends will be held from 3:00 PM until 5:00 PM on Saturday, May 2, 2020 at Johnson Funeral Service. Per CDC guidelines, no more than 10 people will be allowed at any one time.

Patty Sue Anderson was born December 16, 1961 in Fosston, MN the daughter of Harvey Anderson and Ellen (Peterson) Anderson Marfut. She was baptized into the Christian faith and re-baptized as an adult. She attended McIntosh Public School.

Patty moved with her family to Iowa for a short time before returning to live in Thief River Falls, MN where she has continued to reside.

Patty is the proud mother of four children, Kimberly, Michael, Sophia and Thomas.

On November 15, 1995, Patty was united in marriage to Steven Wasley in Thief River Falls and the couple continued to make their home in Thief River Falls.

Patty worked at the ODC in Thief River Falls and also worked at Northern Pride for 18 years. Patty enjoyed her work and had many good friends there throughout the years.

She was a member of the Epiphany Church in Thief River Falls. Patty enjoyed having fun and playing with her grandchildren, family and friends, spending time in her flower beds, basking in the sun and going to the casino with her family.

Surviving are her loving husband, Steve of Thief River Falls; children, Kimberly (Steve) Broten, Michael (Liz Hasby) Anderson, Sophia (Carl Trulson) Bolter and Thomas Bolter; numerous grandchildren; one great-grandchild; siblings, Pamala (Gary) Wales, Edward (Laura) Marfut, Letty (Mark) Bradford, Belle (Jeff) Bradford, Marty Anderson, Harvey (Keeley) Anderson, Terry "Muffet Baby" (Stephanie) Marfut; brother-in-law, Donald Kezar; and numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her father; step-father, George Marfut; sister, Darlene Kezar; and infant sister, Margie.
