Peggy (Helm) Magner, 43, died Tuesday, April 7, 2009 at MeritCare Hospital in Fargo, ND with her family at her side.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, April 11, 2009 at Johnson Funeral Service in Red Lake Falls, MN with Rev. Gary Graff officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery in Red Lake Falls, MN.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 until 8:00 PM Friday April 10, 2009 at Johnson Funeral Service in Red Lake Falls, MN.

Peggy Lou Helm was born July 25, 1965 in Red Lake Falls, MN the daughter of Walter Jerry and Burnette Bernie (Karlstad) Helm. She was baptized and confirmed at the Presbyterian Church in Red Lake Falls, MN. Peggy attended schools in Red Lake Falls. She became the proud mother of Gerald at an early age.

She first married Larry Bradshaw and with his service in the army lived for a time in Washington. Peggy became the proud mother of Joseph. She married Lowell Anderson, and to this union Nicholas and Allen. She later married Edward Miech, Jr. in Sheridan, WY and Edward brought his daughter, Jessica to the family. In 2004, Peggy was married to Wayne Magner and they have made their home in Veblen, SD.

Peggy had many interests including writing poetry, crocheting, plastic canvassing, crafts, reading, crossword puzzles, jigsaw puzzles, playing solitaire, had a passion for collecting wolves, and especially loved spending time with her family and friends.

Peggy had many jobs including Arctic Cat and Custom Wood Products in Thief River Falls and Kum-n-Go and did home health care in Crookston.

Survivors include her husband, Wayne of Veblen, SD; sons, Jerry Rhode of Red Lake Falls, Joe (Fianc, Nadine Sperling) Helm and their daughter, Hailey Helm of Crookston, Nick (Special Friend, Bree Larson) Anderson of Thief River Falls and Allen Anderson of St. Hilaire; sisters, Marie Burton of Joliet, MT, Geri (Tim) McCorkel of Glendale, AZ, Ruth (Wayne) Raymond of Rhinelander, WI, Julie Petersen of Ramsey, MN, Kathy (Lee) Wold of Red Lake Falls, Debbie (Fianc, Robert Brooks) Marcantel of Silsbee, TX; niece and best friend, Sharon Hasby of St. Hilaire; aunts, Myrt Olson of Portland, OR and Elaine Karlstad of Crystal, MN; and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents; grandparents; sister, Sandra Hout; brother, Joseph Helm; granddaughter, Shayla Mae Helm; and brother-in-law, Mark Hasby.
