Raymond Bradley, 77, died Sunday, May 21, 2006 at Northwest Medical Center, Thief River Falls, MN.
Memorial service will be 2 PM, Thursday, May 25, 2006 at Johnson Funeral Service, Thief River Falls, MN, with Reverend Nancy Hanson officiating. Burial will be at Landstad Cemetery, rural Thief River Falls, MN.
Visitation will be one hour prior to service, Thursday.
Raymond Bradley was born December 24, 1928 at Fisher, MN, the son of William and Josephine (Svoboda) Bradley. He attended country school at Crookston, MN and then at Rosewood, MN. He served his country in the United States Air Force, during the Korean War from 1951-1953.
On January 3, 1957, Raymond was united in marriage to Evelyn Armstrong at St. Hilaire, MN. The couple moved to Bailey, NC and stayed over a year. They moved to Thief River Falls, MN in 1962 and moved to Moorhead, MN, where they lived from 1963-1965 and then returned to the Thief River Falls area in 1965. Raymond worked at Arctic Cat for about 15 years. He also laid tile for several years and worked as a laborer installing furnaces and also was employed with the Green Thumb program.
He enjoyed playing cards, especially Rummy, bird watching, feeding deer and watching TV.
Raymond is survived by 3 sisters: Irene (Richard) Strobel, Lodi, CA, Grace Bonawitz, Moorhead, MN and Fern (Jim) Heifort, Moorhead, MN; 2 brothers, Pete (Eleanor) Bradley, Thief River Falls, MN and Howard Bradley, St. Paul, MN.
He is preceded in death by wife, Evelyn in 1998; parents; sisters, Florence Wood, Alma Anderson and Berniece Olson; brothers, Jack, Budd and Harry Bradley.
