Raymond Sonny Joseph Donarski, Jr., 63, died unexpectedly at home on Tuesday, May 10, 2011.

Funeral service will be 10:30 AM, Monday, May 16, 2011 at Evangelical Free Church, Newfolden, MN with Pastor Gary Barrett officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery, Newfolden, MN.

Visitation will be held from 4 - 6 PM, Sunday, May 15, 2011, with a prayer service at 5:30 PM at Johnson Funeral Service, Thief River Falls, MN and for one hour prior to the service at the church, Monday.

Raymond was born March 19, 1948 in Warren, MN, to Raymond Sr. and Antoinette (Grochowski) Donarski. He grew up and spent his entire life on the family farm east of Argyle, MN. He graduated from Argyle High School in 1966. He enjoyed farming and raising cattle, pigs, sheep and chickens.

Family meant a lot to him and he enjoyed and loved them, especially his nieces and nephews.

He also worked for local farmers, Nordic Fiber Glass, D & D Commodities, Nordic Woods, Arctic Cat and Ericco Tool and Manufacturing.

Raymond is survived by his siblings: Gary (Marilyn) Donarski, Newfolden, MN, Patricia (Jule) Hanson, Warroad, MN, Rosalie (Cornel) Rygh, Warroad, MN and Dale (Deb) Donarski, Newfolden, MN; 18 nieces and nephews: Gail, Jonathan, Steve, Philip, Keith, Brent, Jacob, Kallie, Priscilla, Randy, Kristi, Lisa, Katie, Kenny, Deah, Bryan, Michele and Jesse; several great nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and special little brother, Trevor.

Raymond was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, several aunts, uncles and cousins.
