Rebecca "Becky" Lee Kuske (née Zabel), beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away on December 23, 2024 at her residence in Goodridge, MN. Born on October 4, 1957, in Minneapolis, MN, Becky was the cherished daughter of Charles Zabel and Mary Anne Zabel (née Houck).

Becky graduated from Osseo High School and went on to work her way up in the office at Liberty Distribution before dedicating herself to being a stay-at-home mom, a role she cherished deeply. Later in life, she worked at Taher, Sanford, and Walmart, retiring in 2022.

She was married to Alan Austin Kuske in 1984, and they later divorced in 1988. Becky shared a long-term relationship with Randolph "Randy" Nelson from 1990 to 1999, and the Nelson family remained close to her heart.

Becky enjoyed fishing, being outside, bonfires, crafts, drinking beer, woodworking, spending time with her neighbors and caring for her cats. She was a devoted Minnesota Vikings fan and you could see her any day of the week wearing her favorite Vikings gear. She loved talking about her children and grandchildren, who were her pride and joy.

She is survived by her children, Mandy Loscalzo (Antonio Loscalzo) and Mary Kuske (Blake Olson); her extended children, Richard Nelson (Andi Nelson) and Crystal Nelson; and her grandchildren, Giulia Loscalzo and Francesco Loscalzo. Becky has six siblings, including Bruce (late Judy) Zabel, and was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Mary Anne Zabel, and her sister, Deborah Tabaka.

A service will be held at Johnson Funeral Service in Thief River Falls, MN on Monday, December 30, 2024 at 2:00 PM (visitation 1 hour prior). Becky will be laid to rest at a later date in Goodridge, MN.

Becky will be remembered for her warmth, her love for her family, and her vibrant spirit. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
