Rebecca "Becky" Lynn Veselka, 44, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, on Monday, August 22, 2022, at Sandford Hospital, Fargo, ND.

Funeral service will be on Saturday, August 27, 2022, at 2 PM at Zion Lutheran Church, Thief River Falls, MN.

Visitation will be on Friday, August 26, 2022, from 5 to 7 PM, with a Prayer Service at 6:30 PM at Zion Lutheran Church, Thief River Falls, MN.

Burial will be at Greenwood Cemetery, Thief River Falls, MN.

Becky was born September 6, 1977, in Santa Maria, CA, and was raised in Colorado, where she graduated from High School in 1996.  She was married to Jake Hernandez and were blessed to have three daughters—Shae, Madison, and Kamdyn.  In 2009, Becky met Davin Veselka, while he was testing Snowmobiles in Colorado.  Their connection was immediate!  On June 18, 2011, Becky was united in marriage to Davin Veselka at Zion Lutheran Church, Thief River Falls.  Shortly thereafter, she began working at DigiKey in the sales department.  She later became an Assigned Account Supervisor.  In December 2021, Becky was diagnosed with an extremely rare form of cancer.  She fought valiantly and was determined to beat the cancer to remain with her family.  She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Becky was a passionate wife, mother and grandmother!  Her love for them was tremendous and allowed her the courage to keep trying to heal.  Becky was the cornerstone of the family.  Shopping, being outside at the beach (in the sunshine) and spending time with family and friends made her happy.  She was funny, loving and had a great sense of humor.  Everyone who met her, loved her.

Becky is survived by her husband, Davin, Thief River Falls, MN; their children: Devin, Aaron (Lexi), Shae Hernandez (Gibby Rodriguez), Gabby Bolton, Madison Hernandez, and Kamdyn "Kami" Hernandez; grandchildren: Kaden, Clayton, and Declan; sisters: Sharon (David) Vermeersch, CA, Tena (John) Nichols, CO, and Trisha Halderman, CO; nephews and niece: Jake, Ethan, Emma, Megan, Allison, Ryan, and Kade; as well as many other family members and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents.
