Rebecca Becki Reese, 27, died Thursday, January 18, 2007 at Altru Hospital, Grand Forks, ND.

Funeral service will be held on 1:00 PM on Monday, January 22, 2007 at the Evangelical Covenant Church in Thief River Falls with Reverend Merrill Kindall Officiating. Burial will be held at Black River Cemetery rural St. Hilaire, MN.

Visitation will be held on Monday one hour prior to services at the church on Monday.

Rebecca Faye Sodon was born May 24, 1979 in Thief River Falls, daughter of George and Ruth (Nofsinger) Sodon. She was baptized on June 15, 1991 at the Church of Christ in Crookston, MN. She attended Lafayette High School in Red Lake Falls graduating in 1997 and went on to attend college in Rochester, MN. Becki moved back to Thief River Falls and worked at the Super 8 motel, Halls Floral and was church secretary for a time. She was married to Jacob Reese. Becki recently moved to Plummer.

Becki was very active in her church and her Bible study group. She enjoyed scrap booking, stamping, fishing, camping and traveling. She was a loving mother who enjoyed spending time with her boys. Becki was active with the Relay For Life and captain of her team and also co-chair of the Daffodil Days.

Rebecca is survived by her sons Steven Levi Reese and Seth Anthony Reese; parents George and Ruth Sodon of rural Thief River Falls; brothers and sister Derek (Michele) Sodon of Tampa, FL, Doug (Heidi) Sodon of Clearbrook, MN, Bonnie (Kevin) Barth of Thief River Falls, MN and Warren (Tracy) Sodon of Plymouth, MN. Nephews and nieces Katelyn, Lance, Ashley, Dianna, Kirsten, Cody, Travis, Kalicia, McKaylah; along with several aunts and uncles.

She is preceded in death by her grandparents and 2 uncles and one aunt.
