Rhonda Christine Pilcher, 46, of Fargo, ND, formerly of Thief Rivers Falls, MN, died suddenly at her father's home in Thief River Falls, MN, on Monday, July 26, 2021.

Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday, August 4, 2021, at 10:30 AM, at St. Bernard Catholic Church, Thief River Falls, MN.

Visitation will be Tuesday, August 3, 2021, from 5 to 7 PM with a prayer service at 7 PM in the Johnson Funeral Chapel, Thief River Falls, MN.

Burial will be at Landstad Cemetery, Thief River Falls, MN.

Rhonda was born on January 22, 1975, in Northfield, MN, to Ronald and Carole (Seaverson) Pilcher.  In 1976, the family moved to Thief River Falls, MN, where she graduated from Lincoln High School in 1993.  Following graduation, Rhonda attended Northland Community College, graduating with an associate degree.  She continued her education at the University of Minnesota Crookston, graduating with an early childhood development degree in 1997.

Following college, Rhonda began working with children from 1997 to 2004 in Fargo.  Her career changed as she began working as a CNA in 2004.  Hougie Assisted Living, Dilworth, MN, was her first experience assisting the elderly, where she worked from 2004 to 2016. When management changed, Rhonda began working at Farmstead Assisted Living (in the Memory Care unit), Moorhead, MN.  As a second job, Rhonda worked at U-Haul from 1997 to the present in Fargo, where she enjoyed helping people.

Rhonda loved all children and especially loved spending time with her nephew and niece.  Being vary expressive, Rhonda was easy to be around.  Watching Hallmark movies, Minnesota Vikings Football and NDSU Bison Football, the Minnesota Wild, and Fargo Force Hockey games was a terrific pastime for her.  The Christmas season was her favorite time of year as she looked forward to and appreciated all aspects of the holiday season.  Being sweet, caring, and compassionate made Rhonda a natural career giver.  Those who knew her will never forget her as a person who "loved all things girly."

Rhonda is survived by her father, Ron of Thief River Falls, MN; siblings: Renae Pilcher of Warren, MN, Jason (Sharon) Pilcher of Thief River Falls, MN, and Jeremy (Katherine) Pilcher of Warren, MN; nephew, Jared and niece, Kameron Pilcher of Warren, MN; uncles and aunts: Bev Pawloski of Thief River Falls, MN, John and Lorraine Seaverson of AZ, Ruby Jenson of Thief River Falls, MN, and Roy and Julie Seaverson of AZ; Rae Pilcher of Rosemont, MN; Steve and Judy Pilcher of Farmington, MN; and many relatives, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Carole Pilcher, grandparents, Lloyd and Alice Seaverson and John "Jack" and Lucille Pilcher; uncles Ray Pawloski, Jerry Jenson, and Larry Pilcher; and family friend, Tom Loyland.
