Richard Rick L. Pahlen, 51, of Andover, MN at his home on March 11, 2007.

Funeral services will be 7 PM, Wednesday, March 14, 2007 at Thurston-Lindberg Funeral Home, W. Main ST. & Branch Ave., Anoka, MN with Father Ralph Talbot officiating. Visitation will be two hours prior to the funeral service on Wednesday.

Visitation will be Thursday 5-7 PM at Johnson Funeral Service in Thief River Falls, MN with a Prayer Service at 7:00 PM.

Graveside Services will be 10 AM, Friday, March 16, 2007 at St. Bernards Catholic Cemetery, Thief River Falls, MN with Monsignor Timothy McGee officiating.

Richard LeRoy Pahlen was born March 29, 1955 in Crookston, MN to Leo T. and Elayne J. (Brekke) Pahlen. He lived in Thief River Falls until 4th grade and then moved with his family to Anoka, MN. He graduated from Anoka High School. He moved to Plummer, MN where he lived for a few years. He then moved back to Andover. He drove cement truck for 29 years, for the Ame Ready Mix Company of Anoka.

He is survived by his brother Bob (Bev) Pahlen, Plummer, MN; sisters, Dolly (Larry) Shetler, Thief River Falls, MN; Karen (David) Petersen, Coon Rapids, MN; Peg Chmielewski, Andover, MN; and Mary-Ella Maas, Anoka, MN; special friend Linda Vickerman, Anoka, MN; nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and 1 great-great niece; many other relatives and many friends.

Preceded in death by his parents, brother Dale, sister Teresa.
