Richard H. Schuldt of Thief River Falls, MN, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, September 25, 2024 at the age of 79.  He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Sonja (Sue); children, Rebecca (John) Swanberg, Beth (Mark) Schuldt, and Robert (Amy) Schuldt; grandchildren, Allison (Drew) Wallace, Jack (Rachel) Swanberg, and Kate (Hayden) Rasmussen; brother, Harvey (Donna) Schuldt; and many in-laws, nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Harriet Schuldt; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Orrin and Antonia Nystrom; sister, Judy Jovanovich; nephew, James Schuldt.

A Memorial Celebration will be held from 2:00 PM until 5:00 PM on Saturday, November 2, 2024 at the Quality Inn, Thief River Falls, MN.

In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to the WAM – Women's Anglers of Minnesota in Richard's name.  Please note funds designated for Youth Programs.

Richard was an avid hunter, fisherman, and sports enthusiast.  He loved spending time with family and friends.

He was a past Boy Scout leader and a member of the Lutheran Church – Missouri Synod.

He was loved and will be missed by all.
