Robert "Bob" Rendulich, 66 of Thief River Falls, MN passed away suddenly on Sunday, September 11, 2022 with his loving wife by his side.

A gathering time for family and friends will be held from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM on Thursday, September 15, 2022 at Johnson Funeral Service in Thief River Falls, MN. Burial will be held at the Karlstad City Cemetery.

Robert Warren Rendulich was born November 10, 1955 in Duluth, MN the son of Robert Warren and Barbara Jean (Cram) Rendulich. He was baptized and confirmed into the Christian faith. He attended schools in Duluth and Floodwood, MN. Following school, Bob worked at a gas station in Floodwood.

On February 21, 1976, Bob was united in marriage to Margaret Jane Sorenson at Faith Lutheran Brethren Church in Thief River Falls, MN. They made their home in Thief River Falls and to this union five children were born: Lisa, Traci, Kristen, Angela and Eric.

Bob started driving truck for Ken and Alvin Asp hauling grain from Thief River Falls to Duluth for several years. He eventually went to work on the night shift for Bridgeman's in Thief River Falls. After many years of driving truck, Bob became his own owner/operator which he called Bob Rendulich & Son Trucking. He hauled freight throughout the United States and Canada up until his first cardiac arrest in 2017. Once he retired from trucking, Bob took a part-time job with Cenex. He enjoyed working with the people and spending his tip money on candy bars and sour cream and onion potato chips.

Bob enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson, snowmobiling, going to concerts and listening to music, fishing, camping, sneaking Culvers burgers, and trips to Hawaii and Montana. He especially enjoyed being with his family and friends and playing pool with his brother Steve. He dearly loved his wife, kids, and grandkids. Bob had a good sense of humor and was always joking around. He really enjoyed ME TV especially Western's, Bob was the biggest MN Vikings and Tom Brady fan ever.

Survivors include his loving wife, Margie of Thief River Falls; children, Lisa (Brian) Bruns of Fargo, ND, Traci (Nathan) Leitheiser of Moorhead, MN, Kristen (Austin Mathisen) Rendulich of Bismarck, ND, Angela (Mike) Vidmar of Orr, MN and Eric Rendulich of Thief River Falls; grandchildren, Alex, Taylor, Ethan, Elijah, Keagan, Gracie, Ian, Madison, Gunner, Easton, Alissa, and Avelene; brother, Steve Rendulich of Moorhead, MN; sister-in-law, Mary (Rob) Madden of International Falls, MN; brother-in-law, Dave (Christy) Sorenson of Thief River Falls; Kelsy DeFrang, close family friend; and many other relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Mary Rendulich; father and mother-in-law, Norman and Eunice Sorenson; and brother-in-law, John Sorenson.
