Robert "Bob" Hansen of Thief River Falls, MN, passed away at his home, with his loving family by his side, on September 14, 2021, at the age of 66.

Per family wishes, no services will be held at this time due to Covid.

Robert Allen Hansen was born on January 30, 1955 in Dawson, MN, the son of LaVern and Alice (Devick) Hansen.  He was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith.  As a youngster Bob lived in several towns in Minnesota, eventually settling in Thief River Falls, Minnesota.  He graduated from Lincoln High School in 1973.

Following high school Bob met the love of his life and soul mate, Sherryl Dahle.  In 1975 Bob and Sherryl were united in marriage and made their home in Thief River Falls.

Throughout the years Bob worked for Bjorkman's Clothing, Hartz Foods Distribution, and Digi-Key, retiring on December 31, 2019.

As soul mates, Bob and Sherryl enjoyed traveling the United States, Europe, Mexico, the Caribbean, and many other places.  Bob was an avid collector of metal model cars, trucks, metal signs, and all beer steins.

Bob was a very kind, gentle, giving man who will be deeply missed by his wife of 46 years.  He will certainly be missed by his family and friends.

Bob is survived by his loving wife, Sherryl; step father-in-law, Russell Jasperson; sister, Linda (Tom) Maloney; brother-in-law, Mike (Julie) Dahle; brothers-in-law, Larry Pickett and Darrel Sundquist; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; step-father, George Hallman; mother-in-law, Shirley (Dahle) Jasperson; great-nephew, Devin Dahle; brother, Mike; sisters, Susie Pickett, Deb Pritchard, and Shirley Sundquist.
