Robert Roy Hinden, 41, died Sunday August 25, 2002 at his home in Thief River Falls, MN.

Funeral service will be 10:00 AM, Thursday, August 29, 2002 at Faith Lutheran Brethren Church, Thief River Falls, MN, with Reverend George Davis officiating. Burial will be at Landstad Cemetery, Sanders Township, Pennington County, MN.

Visitation will be 5 " 8 PM, Wednesday, August 28, 2002 at the Johnson-Green Funeral Home, Thief River Falls, MN and for one hour prior to services at the church on Thursday.

Robert Roy Dale Hinden was born June 4, 1961, in Thief River Falls, MN, the son of Delewoyn and Delvina (Wangen) Hinden. He was baptized and confirmed into the Lutheran Faith. He grew up and attended Washington Elementary and Franklin Middle School in Thief River Falls, MN.

Roy was a very loving man with a great sense of humor. He always had his own special way of making people laugh. He was a very generous man who would do as much as he could for anyone. He was an animal lover with a special gift with dogs. He was a musical person with a set of drums in his living room. He was also an inventor with many little contraptions in his house. He was deeply loved and will be sadly missed.

Survivors include his father, Del, Thief River Falls, MN; sister, Rhonda (Barry) Martinsen, Thief River Falls, MN; brothers Wayne Hip and Mitch Hinden, both Thief River Falls, MN; 4 nieces and nephews, Shawn Martinsen, Thief River Falls, MN, Kelly (Arlen) Stenvik, Goodridge, MN, Jessica and Joshua Hinden, Thief River Falls, MN; a great niece, Cassidy Stenvik and a great nephew, Zackary Stenvik.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Delvina Hinden and his grandparents.
