Robert Bob Hoglo, 70, died Monday, June 9, 2003 at Northwest Medical Center, Thief River Falls, MN.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 AM, Friday, June 13, 2003 at St. Bernards Catholic Church with Father Tim McGee officiating. Burial will be at St. Bernards Catholic Cemetery, Thief River Falls, MN.

Visitation will be 5-8 PM on Thursday, June 12, 2003 at the Johnson Green Funeral Home in Thief River Falls, MN with a Prayer Service at 7:30 PM. Visitation will also be held for one hour prior to the services at the church on Friday.

Robert Joseph Hoglo was born July 6, 1932 in East Grand Forks, MN to the late William Henry and Marion (Raymond) Hoglo. He was baptized and confirmed in the Catholic Church. The family moved to Northland, then to the Govick, MN, where Robert grew up. He entered the United States Army in March of 1953 and was honorably discharged March of 1955.

On May 19, 1956, Bob was united in marriage to Deloris Lorraine Olson. The couple made their home in Thief River Falls, MN and moved to St. Hilaire, MN in 1970. Bob was a truck driver for Hartz Wholesale, Thief River Falls and retired in 1992.

Bob was a volunteer member of the St. Hilaire Fire Department and served as a city councilman for the city of St. Hilaire. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and telling his grandchildren creative stories.

Survived by wife Deloris; 6 children, Gary (Marilyn), Jodie (Ron) Rondorf, all Thief River Falls, MN, Linda (Mark) Drury, Joe (Dixie) and David all St. Hilaire, MN and Jim (Angie), Thief River Falls, MN; 17 grandchildren; 2 brothers, Bill (Sharon), and Dick (Vonnie), all Thief River Falls, MN; 2 sisters, Candy (Marv) Olson, Thief River Falls, MN and Jan (Wally) Lamb, Warren, MN; sister-in-law, Jane (Bob) Anderson, Thief River Falls, MN and several nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by 3 children, Steven, Diane and Bobbi Ann; parents and brother, Gene.
