Obituary

Robert James Rendulich was born on February 22, 1927 in Duluth, MN one of ten children born to Joseph and Anna (Pecth) Rendulich. He attended Stowe Elementary School in Duluth. He worked on the Mesabi Railroad. Robert entered into service with the United States Army. He did his basic training in Oregon and served as a Military Policeman in Germany. He was Honorably Discharged. On June 6, 1953 Robert was united in marriage to Barbara Jean Cram in Duluth, MN. From this marriage of love three children were born, Robert, Mary Kay and Steven. Barbara died on June 5, 1983 in Eugene, OR. She died one day before their 30th wedding anniversary. He was employed at Superwood Corporation in Duluth, MN until he injured his back. Robert enjoyed hunting, fishing, dancing, trapping, watching WWE wrestling with his son, Steve, and watching his sons play pool at the Rusty Nail. He also enjoyed going in the camper out west to visit many friends along the way. Robert especially enjoyed spending time with his family. Survivors include sons, Robert (Margie) Rendulich of Thief River Falls, MN, Steven Rendulich of Karlstad, MN; seven grandchildren, Lisa (Brian) Bruns, Traci (Nate) Leitheiser, Kristen Rendulich, Angela (Matt Dantes) Rendulich, Eric Rendulich, Kelsie Rendulich, and Michael Rendulich; ten great-grandchildren, Alex, Taylor, Alissa, Keagan, Ian, Avalene, Gracie, Madison, Gunner, and Ethan; sisters, Florence Burger of Duluth, MN and Mari Ann Della Marna of Alta Loma, CA; and several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Barbara; daughter, Mary Kay in 1984; brothers, Tom, John, Rudolph, Frank, Joseph; and sisters, Josephine Leutzinger and Rose Denzler.
