Obituary

Robert "Bob" Samuelson, 53, quietly passed away Friday, July 22, 2011 at his home, with his family and in the care of Hospice of the Red River Valley. This followed a tough 7 month fight since his diagnosis of kidney cancer.
A Celebration of Bob's life will be held in his hometown of Dutton, Montana.
Bob Samuelson was born on October 16, 1957 to Dewey and Beverly (Romer) Samuelson in Lewistown, MT. He attended school and graduated from Dutton High School in 1976. He lived and worked near Dutton, MT in his younger years.
He met Linda Jean Goodhall, while she was teaching in Montana in early 1992. They were married in Linda's hometown of Sheldon, WI on June 12, 1993. They lived in Texas, Wisconsin, and Montana before settling down in Thief River Falls, MN in 1999. Bob worked as a welder for Lindholm Welding and for the last 3 years at Custom Products.
Taking care of his family and home were his chief priorities. Bob was the ultimate NASCAR fan, a firm friend and an avid  rock listener.
He is survived by his wife, Linda Samuelson, and their three children, Alan, Amber, and Alex all at home in Thief River Falls. He is also survived by his mother Bev Samuelson of Dutton, MT and one sister JoAnn (Perry) Clark of Mobile, AL.
Bob was preceded in death by his father, and his grandparents.
