Robin Bach, 60, of Thief River Falls, MN passed away unexpectedly Saturday, May 26, 2018 at her residence.

The service to celebrate Robin's life will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, May 31, 2018 at Epiphany Station in Thief River Falls, MN with Pastor Matty Towse officiating.  Burial will be held at Opdahl Cemetery, rural Newfolden, MN.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM with a 7:00 PM prayer service on Wednesday, May 30, 2018 at Johnson Funeral Service in Thief River Falls, MN.  Visitation will also be held one hour prior to the service on Thursday at Epiphany Station.

Robin Faye Bach was born February 3, 1958 in Grand Forks, ND the daughter of Jens and Alfreda (Skadsem) Bach.  She was baptized at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Newfolden, MN and confirmed at Oak Ridge Lutheran Church in rural Thief River Falls, MN.  The family lived for a short time in Lansford, ND where Robin attended Elementary School and in 1968 the family returned to the Thief River Falls area where Robin graduated from Lincoln High School in 1976.

On June 12, 1976, Robin was united in marriage to Alvin Asp at Oak Ridge Lutheran Church and to this union two sons were born, Daren and Jared.  They made their home in Numedal Township, Pennington County, MN where they farmed small grains and raised beef cattle.

Robin sewed for Thief River Linen for many years while the kids were little.  In the mid-1990's she started sewing at Arctic Cat and later went to work at Digi-Key in the sales department.

She loved spending time with her sons, grandsons, and family.  Robin enjoyed gardening, sewing, photography, her horses, dogs, cats, and farm animals including chickens, ducks, geese, rabbits.

At Epiphany Station, Robin was active in the church, enjoyed participating in small group bible study, did child care for the Young Mother's small group bible study, and also enjoyed serving coffee and treats for the services.  When the kids were younger, Robin was active with the Sanders 4-H Club.

Robin had a fun sense of humor; she has always been a very giving person and will be dearly missed by those who knew her.

Survivors include sons, Daren (Lindsey) Asp and Jared (Amanda) Asp; mother, Alfreda Bach; siblings, David (Mary) Bach, Rhonda Bach, Diane (Rick Tischman) Bach; grandsons, Malachi, Gabriel, Ezekiel, Emerson, and Andrew Asp all of Thief River Falls; special friend, Gregg Erlandson of Maplewood, MN; and many other relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by her father, Jens K. Bach; sister, LaVonne Bach; brother, Jens K. Bach Jr.; and nephew & God-son, William Haugan.
