Rodney Nissen of Chisago City, MN, formerly Thief River Falls, MN, age 52, died Tuesday, March 31, 2015 at his residence. Rodney Melvin Nissen was born on May 30, 1962 in Anoka, MN, the son of Lote Melvin Nissen and Alice May (Hagen) Nissen. He was preceded in death by his father; brother, Richard; nieces; and grandparents. He is survived by his mother, Alice Nissen; daughters, Alicia Nissen and Tasha Nissen; siblings, Diane Eide (Ed) Kaiser, Lonny (Deb) Nissen, and Catherine Wilson, and cherished nieces and nephews. Rodney secured his GED after school. He liked helping people and worked as a painter and a wood cutter. He lived the last years of his life near his family in Chisago City, MN.
