Roger Hinden, of Thief River Falls, MN, passed away on Friday, December 24, 2021 at Sanford Medical Center in Thief River Falls, MN, at the age of 70.

A Visitation to honor Roger's life will be held from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM on Thursday, January 6, 2022 at Johnson Funeral Service in Thief River Falls, MN.

Roger Laverne Hinden was born on July 7, 1951 in Thief River Falls, MN, the son of Albert and Agnes (Olson) Hinden.  He attended school in Thief River Falls.  Roger became a certified welder after attending the technical college in East Grand Forks.

Roger worked as a welder in numerous towns in Minnesota.  He had a lot of interests including guns, motorcycles, old cars, bird watching, and breeding miniature pinchers.  He enjoyed many pastimes such as buying and selling various antiques and attending motorcycle rally's – winning many awards with his motorcycle trike.

On July 7, 1984 Roger married the love of his life, Lou Rio in Thief River Falls, MN, where they resided for the last 40 years.

Roger is survived by his loving wife, Lou Hinden of Thief River Falls, MN; children, Angela (Paul) Buschman of Missouri, Tracy Page of Arizona, and Chad (Emari) Hinden of Texas; 9 grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; sister, Elaine Thompson of New Rockford, ND; several nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his infant son, Jason; brothers, Helmer, Harold, Charles, and Delewoyn and sister, Margaret.
