Ronald Hince, 55, of Oklee, MN died on Saturday, May 27, 2000 at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Fargo, ND. Arrangements with the Petterson Funeral Home in Oklee, MN.
Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, June 1, 2000 at 11:00 AM in St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Oklee, MN with Father Gary LaMoine Officiating. Burial will be held in the St. Francis Xavier Catholic Cemetery at Oklee, MN.
Visitation will be held on Thursday One hour prior to services at the church only.
Ronald James Hince was born February 26, 1945 at Crookston, MN son of the late Henry and Viola (Riel) Hince. He was raised and educated at Oklee, MN. Ronald entered and served in the US Navy August 28, 1964 and was honorably discharged on May 19, 1965. He was united in marriage to Marlene Mercil November 21, 1964 at Drayton, ND. Ronald worked as a carpet layer in the Oklee area and in Grand Forks, ND; he owned the Cozy Bar in Brooks for a time and worked for several years in the oil Fields and mining in Wyoming. In 1994 he returned to the Oklee where he has since resided. He enjoyed Jigsaw Puzzles and playing cards.
Ronald is survived by his children Darrell (Kris) Hince of Casper, WY, Duane (Jacki) Hince of Warren, MN, Dennis Hince of Mettesse, WY and DeAnna Hince of Cody, WY: grandson Joseph of Warren, step grandchildren Kodie, Jeremy and Jake. One sister Lucille (Clarence) Christianson of Oklee, MN and one brother Gerald (JoAnne) Hince of Friendship, WI. Several nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Viola Hince, one infant brother Rollin and three nephews.
